Working with Local Universities

Thanks to one of our amazing volunteers, Chad Baron, WEAll California launched another way to form and accelerate Wellbeing Economies – working with local Universities.

Our first event took place in April 2023 where we gathered professors, faculty and students from several local universities in Claremont to see how would could all work together to spread the concepts behind Wellbeing Economies (WBE).   Since WBE is a holistic concept, our goal is to work across department silos and create multi-disciplinary responses.

The first meeting encouraged us to pursue 3 new goals:

• A larger public facing event in October.
• Engaging students in our Pomona Wellbeing Economy Project or in statewide WBE projects
• Creating a second University event in another California city.   Is your city ready to bring people together for this?
