In Person – Pomona – Community Meeting

A Wellbeing Economy is one where everyone thrives.

Our current economy is inequitable and does not support community priorities

Join multiple community based organizations as we come together again to discuss how we turn visions of Wellbeing Economy into reality here in the Pomona Valley.

Last year, we met to explore what a Wellbeing Econom could look like here in Pomona.  Several themes emerged:

• Quality of Life – Time to be with friends, family and community without worrying about financial challenges.
• Working together – The importance of groups coming together in harmony for solidarity, maximizing resources and building power.
• Changing the Systems – Looking at what builds community wellbeing and what weakens it and making changes.

Join us at our May 12th event, we will work in breakout groups to determine what are the key levers that will build a local Wellbeing Economy and consider forming working groups to keep these efforts going long term.

This is a great time to join us and help form what comes next.

We welcome people of all ages, skill levels and occupations.  Let’s build community as we learn together.
