Oregon’s Success on Healthcare for All

October 9 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT

In 2022, Oregonians voted to pass Ballot Measure 111, which amends the state constitution to declare access to affordable healthcare a right for every citizen.

On Thursday, October 9th, we will be joined by two of the team members from Health Care for All Oregon who worked on getting Oregonians to pass this measure.  They will share some insights into the language and organizing that helped get a majority vote.

They will also share about the work that still needs to be done to define what “affordable healthcare” means and planning for future backlash.

As a group, we will explore what steps Californians might take to have similar success.

Collin Stackhouse, is the Social Media Coordinator for Health Care for All Oregon
