Alternative Federal Budget

A budget speaks about the people’s priorities. Or rather it should.

The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives has been producing deeply researched and well thought out progressive policies and releasing them as The Alternative Federal Budget.

The current version has 25 chapters. Each chapter is written by experts in that field and explains detailed policy ideas and all of the financial implications.

David Macdonald, Senior Economist for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, will join us Thursday, Jan 21st at 10am Pacific to explain how their budget is formed and how it helps advance progressive ideas.
