Let’s Help City and County Leaders Create a Wellbeing Economy!
Join us for a discussion exploring how cities and counties can start to build a Wellbeing Economy based on our popular Local Guide to a Wellbeing Economy.
From mayors and city council members, to county supervisors, sustainability directors and legislative aides, local governments across California are embracing new approaches to address interconnected challenges such as housing affordability, climate resilience, economic inequality, public health, and community trust.
WEAll CA’s Local Guide offers policy and community-based pathways to create this and we will be brainstorming some ways to ensure that city and county leaders know about the range of new ways to think about economic resilience in their communities.
This brainstorm discussion will cover practical questions like
- How should WEAll CA introduce the Guide to elected officials and public agencies?
- What policy areas are most relevant for local governments today?
- What messaging resonates best with public sector leaders?
- How can WEAll CA support municipalities interested in developing Wellbeing Economy strategies and policies?
- How can you take this guide to your local community leaders
Please join us and bring ideas, examples, and questions! This session is designed to help shape future outreach, partnerships, and implementation support for local governments across California.
