How do We Pass Wellbeing Economy Legislation in California?

We are not the type of people who just talk about the future we want to create.  We want to figure out HOW to make it happen.

How much can we look to the California State Government to make this better world a reality?

To explore this question, we have brought in three people who actively work to pass policies at the state level.

• Melissa Morris of The 5 Gyres Institute
• Carlos Alarcon of California Immigrant Policy Center

Each panelist will describe their work and the types of legislation that are working to pass.  They will help us understand the process and obstacles to getting legislation passed in California.

After the introductions, we will have a Q&A session.

This event is also a celebration of WEAll CA’s new Statewide Policy Guide which features 12 organizations and their work to pass policies aligned with a Wellbeing Economy vision.
